Within the limitations outlined in your policy, Compulsory Earthquake Insurance provides monetary coverage for material damages that are directly brought on by earthquakes, as well as earthquake-related fires, explosions, tsunamis, and landslides.
You can contact VakıfBank Branches for Compulsory Earthquake Insurance (TCIP)
Frequently Asked Questions
To create a Compulsory Earthquake Insurance coverage, you will require UAVT, which is the address code information, also known as the identifying number of your home or workplace.
The UAVT code allows you to avoid incorrect address notifications while developing your TCIP policy, as well as simply identify out-of-scope residences and workplaces.
Earthquake insurance is a compulsory type of insurance for all residential buildings. Within the scope of the Catastrophe Law No. 6305, persons who do not have this insurance will lose the right to benefit from housing loans or state aids to be provided after an earthquake.
TCIP insurance covers earthquake and earthquake-induced material damage to the building. It does not provide coverage for fire or household items.
If you want to cover your belongings, you can take out Home Package insurance.
The TCIP covers material damages to insured buildings up to the amount insured that are directly caused by earthquakes and earthquake-induced fires, explosions, and landslides. This is a mandatory product. It covers only the damages to the building up to the earthquake limit determined by TCIP. Items are not within coverage. The housing policy, on the other hand, provides coverage for buildings and belongings against earthquakes as well as fire, theft, flood, ingress of water, domestic water hazards and other risks specified in the policy.
Your policy is valid for 1 year from the start date.
You need to present a document containing your identity information for your earthquake insurance transactions. Furthermore, the insurance holder must also declare the following information about the house to be insured.
Insured's identity information, mobile phone number
Insured's address of residence (UAVT code)
Address of the place to be insured for earthquakes
Title deed information, gross surface area in square meters of the relevant dwelling

Number of floors in the building
